During the 2018 Christmas season, the decoration around Podil, my neighborhood in Kyiv, were Prymachenko themed. Here’s my only photo from then:

I really like Maria Prymachenko’s artwork (check out the Wikipedia article in other languages besides English, for more examples). The colors and life in them are really neat to see in real life.

There’s also a ton of modern Ukrainian art that is very derivative of her style. I’d always dreamed of getting a nice painting of a bird in that style for our house in Kyiv.
