District heating

I don’t think the future of sustainable technology is going to be in any of the flashy things that are touted today such as electric cars, wind turbines, and soy burgers. I recommend a read of How the World Really Works for an explanation of why not.

But, I do think some incredibly boring things like district heating are going to be quietly revolutionary. City Beautiful’s — think Not Just Bikes without the snide and a lot more informative — introduction to district heating is a nice watch.
